Our designs are constructed of steel rods ranging in size from 1/4" to 1/2"round and some square tubing for larger items depending on the size of the item. The frames are powder coated white. The LED lights are attached to the frame with innovative colored clips that keep the lights in place. We use high quality sealed LED lights which keeps all moisture from entering the lights. The lights are placed very close together to get the most beautiful outline of our designs.
Most of our large designs are hinged and folded for storage and easy shipping. Most items come with ground stakes for mounting. Items without ground stakes are labeled as hanging items. Sizable items may need extra support that is not included. These items for support such as stakes, string, and rebar can be purchased at your local hardware store.
The set up of our products is so easy! Each product comes with a detailed instruction sheet of how to set up. If you live in windy areas, you may consider placing a piece of rigid steel such as rebar behind each item and using cable ties to attach the frame to the rebar.
Our LED lights are our own design used for our frames. They are somewhat shaped like the incandescent mini lights of the past. We do not use end to end strings of lights. Each of our designs has its own light harness that only fits that design. The lights are attached with a clip that snaps onto the light and then clips to the frame for the perfect outline.
We do not sell LED strings of lights to refurbish older displays. The LED lights are not end to end like the incandescent minis of the past. There is now a light harness that fits each display. Many of the older items have been retired or the patterns have changed. Our light harness will not fit most of the frames. The cost of LED lights is much higher than older style incandescent lights as well. It is not cost efficient for you, the customer, to relight the older frame. The frame is the least expensive part of your decoration.
Due to the cost of shipping and several reasons, we do not offer frames without lights attached.
All our products are outdoor decorations. There is no need to alter any products for outdoor use. You do not need to tape over or cap female ends of the displays. They are designed to withstand rain, snow and wind with a few exceptions. If you live in an area that has a large expected snowfall, make sure to raise the decorations up above this level. The LED lights cannot withstand being buried in snow for extended periods of time.
If you live in an area within 10 miles of the ocean of body of salt water, your LED lights will not last as long. It will help to rinse the decorations with tap water (MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT PLUGGED IN) and let them dry thoroughly before storing them away.
We do not offer custom displays. We only have stock items available. You can email us with requests and we will be happy to consider them for the next years new designs.
All the products are only available in colors pictured on our web site or catalog. We do not offer items in different colors or designs.
Christmas Done Bright offers a one season limited warranty on all items to the first-end user. If you have an issue with a product purchased within the one season time period, please open the link for troubleshooting and how to proceed with your claim.
Christmas Done Bright, Inc. guarantees the workmanship and quality of our products. If there are defects in the product or the product is not as described or as ordered, it will be accepted for return according to the policy defined in Returns. Note: There is a brief time limit for requesting returns. so please check out the products upon receipt and report problems immediately by following the instructions in Returns.
The following product conditions are not covered under warranty: Extended use, damage from improper installation or removal; damage from wind or inclement weather; damage from electrical surges, and/or; modified products

Controllers are warrantied for 1 season. If you think your controller has malfunctioned or stopped working in this time period, please remove your light controller from the decoration. Test each channel of the controller with a light string to see which channel is not blinking. If you have channels that are not blinking, please email us at techsupport@cdblights.com. You can also purchase a new controller here.
Please email us with a picture of the broken weld at techsupport@cdblights.com. Take two pictures. One of the weld up close and one standing back from the decoration so we can see the general area on the decoration.
Pricing and Billing
If you live outside of the state of Tennessee, our site does not charge sales tax. Customers residing in Tennessee will be charged sales tax.
Shipping rates are calculated on our web site before you submit your order. It is usually an estimated 10% of the total of your order. These rates can change.

When you place your order, your credit card will receive an authorization. This is not a charge. This is an automatic initiation of the sale ensuring the credit card is valid. Your credit card will not be charged until the item has shipped from our warehouse. In the early part of the year, your order may take more time to process if items are on back order.
When you place an order through Paypal, they only hold the authorization for 7 days. If you have a product on back order and the charge has disappeared, you will receive a Paypal invoice from us again before the item ships from our warehouse.
When you received your gift certificate email, you should have received a code. This code can be entered at check out and the total will be subtracted from your order. If you received a gift certificate from a trade show or auction, there should be a promo code that you can enter under promo codes in the checkout.
Promo codes or coupon codes can be entered at checkout. There is a place for promo codes. Please note that many promo codes are for a certain time period and/or have restrictions such as a minimum purchase. Some codes found online through 3rd party coupon sites are many times fake or are codes from a long time ago and may not work.

We offer many sales and discounts throughout the year. If you are registered on our site or have ordered before, you will receive an email with the sale information. Make sure we are on your safe senders list. Many times, the promo codes will be posted on our Home page of our web site.
You can track the status of your order by going to My Orders. You can see if it has been shipped. When your order ships from our warehouse, you will receive an email with your tracking information.
Christmas Done Bright ships your order very quickly. To cancel an order, please contact us at 888-453-0599. If the order has already shipped, you will be instructed on how to do a return authorization. Return shipping will be your responsibility once the order has left our warehouse.

Have you tracked your order from the email that you received that says your order has shipped? Have you checked the status of your order on My Orders?
Please check your boxes thoroughly. Some items could arrive with two items in one box. Extra controllers are often placed in a box with another item to keep them from being lost in shipping.
If you ordered 2 or more of the same item, many times the boxes are secured together as one box.
Please check all of the contents of your box. All parts are usually strapped to the frames with yellow cable ties. Sometimes the parts may fall to the bottom of the box during shipping.
Orders placed early in the year are usually on back order for a few months. Please be assured that we have your order still pending and your items will ship as soon as they arrive to our warehouse. Your shipment will not be charged on your card until the order ships from our warehouse.
We only ship to the contiguous 48 United States at the last 3months of the year. We can ship to other states and Canada in the earlier part of the year. We do not ship to any countries other than Canada. You can contact us at 888-453-0599 to get a shipping rate on the items you would like to receive.
